PVH sets funds aside for House of Denim

PVH Foundation, the global philanthropic arm of Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein parent PVH, has announced that it will invest $10 million in international non-profits over the next four years.

Among the three European charities set to benefit from the company's funds, which it selected in partnership with special interest group the Fashion Minority Alliance, is Amsterdam-based foundation House of Denim.

According to its website, the non-profit's aims include inspiring denim stakeholders to achieve “a brighter blue” through fostering innovation and inclusivity-minded connections, collaboration and education.

Group chief executive, Stefan Larsson, commented that PVH’s new partnerships will help it to make “a greater global impact” in terms of awareness-raising and supporting access, specifically when it comes to opening the door to fashion opportunities for those from underserved or underrepresented communities. “We look forward to elevating the next generation of innovators around the world,” he said.
