28/09/2022
In the course of 2022, the San Francisco-based corporation said that $2.2 million were granted in support of its global community with 1,880 company employees and retirees having received support from the foundation. This is more than double pre-pandemic needs and the average grant allocated was $800.
The RTF is funded mainly by the group’s own employees who collectively donated $1.2 million in 2022. Haas family members, and company executives top the list of donors. Special sales and events are also organised to raise funds for the foundation. LS&Co contributed $57,500 last year, but also provides funding for the foundation’s daily operations (which are $650K yearly).
The war in Ukraine, changing reproductive care landscape in the United States and growing inflation were some of the emergency situations that marked 2022, the report said.
