Transformers takes London with ED event
Transformers Foundation, a US-based platform for industry voices and ideas, will hold a full day of hybrid student-centred talks in collaboration with Ravensbourne University London on October 6, as part of its Transformers ED series. 

The event will run between 2pm and 6pm BST and feature presentations on cotton, newer natural fibres, future fibres, textile-to-textile recycling, sustainable fabric finishing, circular jeans design, denim trends and inspiration, plus what actually happens in a denim laundry (‘The Secret Life of Washing’, by Rowan Hunt). 

In addition to Mr Hunt, other speakers include Miguel Sanchez of Transformers Foundation, Candiani’s Danielle Arzaga, Amy Roberton of Seventy and Mochi, Mohsin Sajid (Endrime and Denim History), Blackhorse Lane Ateliers’ Leanne Jae, Laura Dixon of Three by One Europe and WGSN’s Nicole Ajimal.
