Hybrid Dornbirn-GFC textile conference opens next week

The annual textile innovation conference that takes place in Dornbirn, Austria, will be held in person and online from September 14 to 16.

During the three-day event, 94 different talks are scheduled, covering several platforms, which are fibre innovation, sustainability, circularity and recycling, non wovens, apparel & sports and functional surfaces.

Highlights of the fibre innovation programme include Renewcell and Lycra on September 14, Infinited Fiber and HeiQ AeoniQ on September 15.

Speakers lined up to talk on the circular economy feature Cécile Martin, from Re_fashion France, Karla Magruder, from Accelerating Circularity, Nin Castle from Reverse Resources, Anna Palme from Södra and Richard Herchl from Lenzing.

Denim industry executives from Kipas and KG Denim, as well as Annabelle Hutter, from Säntis Textiles, are also scheduled.
