Denim PV back in Milan

Roving trade fair Denim Première Vision (Denim PV) will return to Milan’s Superstudio Più for two days between November 23 and 24, following its spring edition in Berlin, which saw 83 exhibitors draw in a 1,600-strong crowd of visitors.
This month's show will see around 65 industry players hailing from Japan to Mauritius display their latest concepts and innovations, now presented over three forums, ahead of spring-summer 2024.
Denim producer Isko is due to host a wine and cheese event in celebration of all things denim on day one, to mark the passing of 15 years since Denim PV’s 2007 debut.
Ten fashion brands from across Europe will preview their denim collections, co-created with show exhibitors, in a dedicated “district” for the second consecutive season. Meanwhile, digital seminars and live sourcing events will similarly return as a complement to the offline programme, which this year includes practical denim dyeing and hand-weaving workshops, an exhibition of fair trade and carbon-neutral cotton by Sicilian organic farm Cotone Organico di Sicilia, a showcase of designer and patternmaker Alessio Berto’s “zero-impact”, five-silhouette Indigo Eden collection, plus more. “Denim is a blank page, always ready to be reinvented,” organisers said.
Mr Berto’s studio is also set to outfit show staff in two-piece denim sets made in collaboration with denim mill Sharabati, whose Kadirli facility Inside Denim toured back in September, and specialist Italian manufacturer FashionArt, now 60% owned by Parisian luxury house Chanel.
