The organisers said that 14,200 people attended the event held August 30 to September 1st. Tim Hüsemann, a Panther Textile shareholder commented: “Tuesday was not as busy as usual, but Wednesday made up for it. Everyone who wants to do business was there.” Beyond authentic denims, he singled out the new Lycra Adaptive Denims and cotton-free denims made from 100% Tencel as attracting interest during the show.
Spanish denim mill Evlox made the fabric of the uniforms worn by MFS staff at Bluezone. They featured the company’s special Smoothic finish. The uniforms and assorted accessories were available to buy at the Bluezone shop, and 50% of the proceeds were to go to support the Fair for Ukraine organisation.
The next Bluezone show will be held on January 24 & 25.
