NYDJ introduces IndigoLast as eco-friendlier option
Denim label NYDJ, founded as Not Your Daughter’s Jeans in 2003, has announced the launch of IndigoLast, a deep blue wash it describes as delivering lasting colour intensity, despite “less water, chemicals and energy” than conventional finishing treatments.

IndigoLast is the latest addition to the brand’s existing portfolio of eco-friendlier processes, which also extends to BlueLast and BlackLast for darker denims. 

NYDJ is well-known for its stretchy, shaping and smoothing denim lines and more size-inclusive range of fits. The company’s Lift Tuck technology, for example, has been engineered to create a slimming effect at the front, thanks to a patented criss-cross design, plus help contour the figure from behind.  

Fabrics used by the brand in more recent collections typically contain a blend of Tencel modal fibre from Lenzing, Unifi’s Repreve recycled polyester, cotton and elastane. It also includes various other fibres in its ranges, including moisture-wicking Coolmax polyester from The Lycra Company.
