German denim label Armedangels has launched its debut pair of 100% recycled cotton jeans as part of this season’s DetoxDenim range, 99.62% of which is made from natural fibres or recycled materials, according to the company.

The fabrics developed for this season's collections do not include virgin plastics.

For its 100% recycled jeanswear, the blend is 80% pre-consumer and 20% post-consumer cotton waste. Design lead, Sara Maier, said Armedangels’ spring styles were the brand’s first to be made from 100% recycled fibres.
