Smythe launches first denim line
Canadian fashion label Smythe, best known for its blazer, appreciated by the Princesse of Wales, has announced the launch of its very first jeans. Andrea Lenczner and Christie Smythe, who founded the Toronto-based brand in 2004, said they had taken the same dedication to tailoring, fit, quality and style in developing the denim range.

The first collection features six styles and two washes. The brand favours high-rise styles, as they make up most of the range, with one mid-rise and fitted style and one low-rise cropped wide-legged. A rigid denim fabric in 100% cotton (80% regenerative and 20% recycled) is also a key fabric in the range, which also includes stretch references for the skinny styles.
