Circulose Supplier Network adds 35 more members
Swedish textile-to-textile recycler Renewcell has added 35 new members to its Circulose Supplier Network, including 14 strategic partners from Turkey and seven apiece from both South and Southeast Asia.
This brings its total membership to 151 suppliers: 77 spinners, 72 weavers, 36 denim manufacturers, 48 knitters, 40 garment producers and ten makers of home textiles.
“Our goal was to build up key geographical regions that could service the varied requirements of our current and future brand partners,” commented Renewcell chief commercial officer, Tricia Carey. “Being able to offer vertical or location-specific, end-to-end manufacturing is significant for our continuous development.”
The pulpmaker cited partner Birla Cellulose’s ramped up Circulose production in India and its subsequent need for more localised, readily available supply as but one example.
