Walmart ‘refreshes’ Gen Z range
Walmart has decided to freshen up its $2 billion No Boundaries in-house brand to offer the styles and prices that young consumers want. It has recruited a team of dedicated fashion designers, marking a first for this label the US-retailer says. It hopes that focusing on “fit, quality, style and fabrics” will resonate with today’s young adults.

The first collection drops on July 16 and will feature what the retailer says are “new modern shapes” such as baggy fit jeans, cropped tees and oversized sweat sets made from higher quality fabrics including seamless stretch, power mesh, lux fleece and authentic denim fabrics. It says that 80% of this 130-piece range will be priced under $15.

“Refreshing our private brand portfolio is critical to our fashion strategy as we evolve our assortment to resonate not only with our core customers, but the next generation of Walmart shoppers,” said Jen Jackson Brown, who leads Walmart’s fashion brands.
