New twist to chore jacket
British extreme conditions brand Vollebak is introducing its first product designed not for pushing boundaries but rather for everyday.

Its newly released ‘Sashiko Chore Jacket’ is made from a Japanese denim fabric dyed indigo, of course, and covered entirely in ‘sashiko’ stitching, a traditional technique of mending clothing in Japan. The technology-driven brand has chosen to use a meta-aramid thread for the functional embroidery. Each jacket is said to have 5.5 km of sashiko stitches.

The jacket is sold online €795.
