Madewell times Kaihara-supplied denims for spring

US denim brand Madewell has joined hands with Kaihara in Japan to produce a five-piece capsule built on the latter’s “more dimensional-looking denim [process] that wears into a gorgeous high-low effect over time”, as the Long Island-based label put it.

The line is an extension of the brand’s spring collection.

Ranging from workwear-inspired overalls to two pairs of super-wide jeans, a button-up shirt and a chore jacket priced between $92 and $228, each article features two inside labels: one from Madewell and one from Kaihara Denim.

“Artfully faded and intended to stay vivid for years to come, these styles seamlessly integrate into your wardrobe,” Madewell said.
