Armalith offers digital traceability
High-tech denim fabric developer Pierre-Henry Servajean has teamed up with Trust-Place and Avery Dennison to offer a digital product passport (DPP) for Armalith denims. The added traceability and transparency guarantee the authenticity of the fabric and provide information on its specific properties and production.
Armalith fabrics are woven by Spanish mill Tejidos Royo and are made from an ultra-high modulus polyethylene in a corespun yarn, in which the high resistance technical yarn is covered by cotton to offer wearer comfort.
Trust-Place is a French SaaS platform specialising in digital certification and post-purchase customer experience. “This [partnership] opens up more possibilities, as digital passports go far beyond authentication: they allow brands to collect unprecedented data on post-purchase usage, strengthening customer relationships and paving the way for personalised services and experiences,” commented Trust-Place CEO and co-founder Gaëlle Delore.
