G-Star selects Royo’s foam dye technique
Denim brand G-Star Raw has worked with Spanish mill Tejidos Royo to produce a collection made with its foam dye technique.
Foam replaces the large vats of water and chemical baths typically used in conventional indigo dyeing, reducing water to almost zero water – (read more about it in our interview with Jose Royo).
The brand said: “Every season, we look at our ongoing practices to see how we can replace them with greener solutions. From fabric choices to production processes, now, we are focusing on water waste."
Other brands to use this method include Wrangler and Lee.
