Nudie hones in on deadstock

Swedish brand Nudie has released limited-edition styles using deadstock fabric, as part of is mission to reduce waste.
One style uses a 15.2oz deadstock fabric from 2022, featuring a deep indigo hue, with signature orange thread and navy embroidery (pictured).
From the same year, a stretch version of Japanese mill Kaihara’s Dry Selvage features a deep indigo green-cast tone with rich ring-spun texture.
Dry Deadstock Flare Glenn jeans use another 2022 fabric, this time with a mid-blue shade and open construction, with tobacco thread and copper trims.
Finally, a 2021 deadstock fabric features a saturated indigo warp and beige-dyed weft and an irregular slubby texture for a vintage-inspired look.
“Each pair is a patchwork of history,” said Nudie, and they are limited to between 27 and 211 pieces.
