Fashion Act announces second edition
14/03/2025
The organisers note that a “a European and French regulatory tsunami will directly impact market access by 2028” which the event intends to address in detail. These include ecodesign requirements, digital traceability, stronger anti-greenwashing measures, as well as the waste directive and evolving rules for corporate governance. In many of these domains, France has already begun to implement more stringent requirements for the apparel industry, and can thus serve as a test market for future European measures.
The central theme of this conference will be circularity. Fashion Act 2025 will highlight ongoing regulations and solutions to address them. It will also on environmental labelling in France and Europe; scientific advances in the sector, including extrinsic durability; and the anti-fast fashion law.
COSE361 promises “an immersive and interactive” programme, which will include an exhibition space, masterclasses and workshops, along with networking opportunities.
