Hiut founders David and Clare Hieatt have announced that they have found a buyer for the brand they founded in 2011 and which produces its jeans in Cardigan, Wales. The new investors have not been named, but were customers of the brand and have vowed to continue to manufacture jeans in the Welsh town.  

In a post on social media, the couple admitted that the last couple of years have been “a fight to stay in business”. They had shifted to a manufacturing-on-demand business model in 2024, which we had covered here.
