Mustang invests in French market
Mustang’s roots go back to 1932, the year it was founded in Germany. This makes it one of the first European denim brands with Lee Cooper, founded in the UK in 1908. It is now preparing to launch a three-week long campaign next week, with a special focus on the French market.

Over the past three years, the German family-owned company has been reorganising its retail channels in France and seeing sales grow. Alongside the launch of the True Heritage campaign on major social networks (Meta, TikTok and YouTube), the company is also setting up a French e-commerce site, with a licensee, and its retail partner for the campaign is CCV.

The Autumn collection features a mix of traditional and modern takes on iconic Mustang jeans. Selvedge styles are a highlight along with workwear-inspired styles. Sustainability is also an important facet of its strategy, with 100% of its cotton certified.

The company based in Schwäbisch Hall, Baden-Württemberg, employs 500+ people, operates 135 stores and outlets, and produces some 6 million items per year, bringing in sales of around €100 million.
