The Hamburg-based denim brand, under insolvency administration for the past few months, has found new owners. The Böck family, owner of Marc O’Polo, has taken a 74.9% stake in a new company to be called Closed NewCo GmbH, alongside Dieter Holzer, who is acquiring 25.1% and has been named CEO going forward. Details of the transaction have not been disclosed. 

The company, which generates revenues of €120 million with a staff of 330, will remain headquartered in Hamburg. 

Mr Holzer has held executive positions at Tommy Hilfiger Germany, Tom Tailor and Marc O’Polo.
