Novel twists on flock, prints and finishes at ISKO Luxury by PG
Always offering a unique creative vision, the latest collection for 'ISKO Luxury by PG' showcased updated prints and hidden flocks, inspired by textiles of the past but based on Recode Denim – ISKO’s range containing at least 50% recycled fibres sourced from sister company RE&UP.
Standout concepts this time include herringbone, glitter prints, prints that will fade like indigo and flocks used on the inside of garments.
Creative director Paolo Gnutti said: “Through advanced technologies, we’ve brought new life to historic fabrics and structures, creating pieces that are both responsible and enduring.”
The capsules are:
• Ecru Mania: demonstrating the versatility of écru
• Inside Out: Applications and treatments come to life within the weave, or printed on the inside of fabrics
• HBT: Military heritage, inspired by herringbone twill
• Transform: Dynamic fabrics that adapt and surprise
• Noble: denim with blends silk, wool, linen and hemp
• Urban Comfy: Soft, versatile fabrics designed to follow everyday movement
Mr Gnutti added that he expects to see more printed denims in brands’ collections, after witnessing them on the catwalks. Customers are also requesting blends with linen, silk, hemp and wool, as well as lurex fabrics. Flocking – one of his specialities, added to the fabrics in Italy – has also been gaining popularity over the past few years.
