Italian mill Candiani has presented a blend of 35% wool with regenerative cotton, in grey with an indigo hue, made on vintage shuttle looms. 

It has also replaced PVA (Polyvinyl Alcohol) with chitosan – a  natural polymer, sourced from the fungi Aspergillus Niger – in its sizing process.

The mill explained the addition of wool makes the fabric thermo-regulating and moisture-wicking.

Customers in Italy can visit the Candiani Store in Milan to be measured for custom wool jeans.
