Candiani’s summer 2027 denims feature linen
Italian denim mill Candiani is betting on the fresh appeal of linen/cotton blends for its SS 2027 collection. The lightweight fabrics are said to combine the durability of denim with the breathability and comfort of linen. The company pointed out that linen is one of “the most sustainable fibres available” as it requires minimal water and ages beautifully.

Candiani’s new range comes in a special warm-weather palette that features écru and sulfur-beige shades in addition to denim’s own indigo. These are applied using special dyes and finishing treatments, including the mill’s foam colouring technique that yields rich hues and coloured coatings that deliver glossy, metallic or waxed surfaces.

Candiani has sourced its linen fibres from France and regenerative cotton from Greece and Spain, ensuring proximity and traceability, in addition to fully made-in-Europe fabrics. The collection includes both open-weave and compact constructions with natural ring effects, true to authentic denim aesthetics.
