Moncler heads to Kojima for technical 'denim' fabric
High-end outdoor brand Moncler has developed a fabric in Japan's Kojima that delivers windproof, waterproof and breathable performance while preserving denim’s drape, indigo tone and hand feel, according to the company.
Denim jackets and trousers have been “reimagined for the slopes”, supported by details such as YKK’s AquaGuard zips and vents, Recco reflectors, pull-out hoods, stretch jersey thumbhole cuffs and powder skirts.
PrimaLoft Gold Active insulation provides warmth and comfort with a lightweight feel.
The new campaign features two-time Olympic gold medallist snowboarder Chloe Kimand (pictured) and supermodel Amber Valletta.
Moncler was founded in Monestier-de-Clermont, France, in 1952 and is now headquartered in Italy.
