Capsules from Paolo Gnutti, Advance Denim to be accessible to all brands

PG Denim founder and denim specialist Paolo Gnutti is collaborating with manufacturer Advance Denim to create capsules for the US and Asian markets, with promises that the collections will be within reach of all brands.

“I feel that we need a new challenge in our denim world, a new era of true globalisation,” said Mr Gnutti. “We will create a capsule collection that will reach all customers, from premium to the mass market.”

Mr Gnutti is known for his creative take on denim, bringing flocks, 3D prints, coloured foils and metallic effects to indigo bases. “My passion and my professional exploration lead me to acquire the skill needed to develop unforgettable and unique textile concepts,” he said.

Advance Denim, one of the oldest denim manufacturers in China, describes itself as making sustainable denim, regularly investing in infrastructure and systems to help achieve “aggressive” sustainable goals.

Amy Wang, general manager of Advance Denim, said: “We believe it is the combination of eastern and western design and culture that have never been offered to our customers before and will take Advance Denim to a whole new level.”

She added that they also hope to offer the collection from the group’s Vietnam facility.
