Levi’s doubles order from social co-operative
Denim brand Levi Strauss & Co is launching its second collection with the Porto Alegre Cooperative, which was founded in 2011 in Rovigo, Italy to upskill some of the most vulnerable people in society, including the homeless, people with mental health issues, migrants, asylum seekers and refugees.

The first collection of bags and pencil cases sold out online, so this year Levi’s has doubled its order, with all net proceeds donated back to Porto Alegre.

All items have still been created using excess Levi’s denim and fabrics that have been repurposed and every piece is unique.

The products will be available the Levi’s 247 app from November 26, and in 28 stores in Europe from November 30.
