Levi’s x Miu Miu upcycled denim to launch this spring

Following on from the official launch of Italian fashion house Miu Miu’s 80-piece capsule collection of refashioned garments, dating from between the 1930s and 1980s, across nine select boutiques in early December 2020, the brand announced on Instagram later the same month that it will release a collection of upcycled denim garments with US-based Levi’s in spring 2021.

An Instagram post on both brands’ social media feeds was captioned: “Upcycled by Miu Miu. Giving new life to pre-loved Levi’s denim. Coming this spring.”

No further information on the collaboration was disclosed, aside from an image which showed a pink version of the Levi’s leather garment tab (pictured).

The Italian label, known as Prada’s “little sister”, is expected to upcycle vintage Levi’s 501 jeans.
