‘For a new time’: Isko 2022 (volume one)

Italian denim manufacturer Isko has released its 2022 collection (volume one), which it described as “a new collection for a new time”.
Created entirely from the producer’s R-Two technology, which uses a blend of only reused and/or recycled resources, the collection centres on style, comfort and new technical advancements, Isko said.
The collection is divided into four “lifestyles”: Denim Lovers, Simplify, Comfy and Euphoria.
Designed with denim aficionados in mind, the Denim Lovers ‘lifestyle’ incorporates Isko technologies such as Xmen’s, Reform and Pop, plus Vintouch and Vulcano finishes. Inspired by vintage 1980s colours and workwear, the line uses medium-heavy weight denim in a range of indigo shades, as well as black and grey colourways.
Modern fabric technologies, combined with a minimal, “authentic” aesthetic, define the Simplify mood. The manufacturer’s Rigid, Comfort, Pop, Reform HP, Reform XP, Xmen’s and Rigidflex technologies all “work hard to make simple seem easy” with this ‘lifestyle’, it said.
Various levels of elasticity contribute to the “working-from-home luxe” look of the Comfy range, Isko elaborated. R-Two denim has been blended with man-made cellulosic fibres such as rayon and modal for “unbeatable softness” and ease of movement. Light-medium weight denim using Pop, Jeggings, Pj Soft and Bluejym technologies have further been harnessed to maximise comfort, the company stated, in classic indigo shades as well as black and white options.
Finally, the “fashion-forward” Euphoria ‘lifestyle’ uses light-medium weight denim in shades of indigo, mint green and purple. Isko’s Vintouch, EFD and Rainbow finishes have been used to achieve “innovative and disruptive” results for 2022 with Isko’s Pop and Xmen’s technologies.
