R-Two and ‘jeather’ key to Isko 2022 (volume two)

Denim manufacturer Isko recently unveiled volume two of its 2022 collection, describing this latest release as having responsibility, creativity, authenticity and comfort engrained in every fibre of every fabric used.

Once more created entirely from the company’s Textile Exchange-certified R-Two technology, a blend of reused and recycled materials, Isko stated that it guarantees complete traceability of all raw materials, from field to finished product.

Included in the collection are the company’s stretch denim, skinny-look jeggings, now available with up to 50% recycled content, while still maintaining a soft cotton hand-feel, Isko said.

Meanwhile, the comfort range - now available in new, dust-resistant colourways “horizon black” and “horizon navy” - reportedly delivers an “authentic” denim look with added stretch and increased recycled content (now over 50%), while again ensuring a soft cotton hand-feel. The additional use of recycled materials further means that the denim is wrinkle resistant and quick to dry, a press release stated.

Volume two continues with the four denim “lifestyle” options proposed by Isko in volume one (denim lovers, simplify, comfy and euphoria), which now notably include Isko’s stretchy, figure-hugging “jeather” as part of the euphoria range.

Available in a range of finishes ranging from matte to “glitzy” and a variety of weights, the denim producer described “jeather” as having the “look and touch of leather and the fit and feel of real denim”.
