Robert Lynch elected to Kontoor’s board of directors
President and CEO of Papa John’s, Robert Lynch, has been named a director of Kontoor Brands, the owner of denim brands Wrangler, Lee and Rock & Republic.
Mr Lynch will serve on the audit and the talent and compensation committees of Kontoor’s board of directors.

Since being appointed president and CEO of Papa John’s in August 2019, Mr Lynch has led the company - the world’s third-largest pizza delivery enterprise - to new growth and success, including improved financial performance, enhanced employee benefits and programmes and elevated social responsibility initiatives, a press release said.
He has previously held senior roles at Arby’s, Taco Bell, Heinz and Procter & Gamble.
