PVH tracks 2020’s sustainability highlights
US fashion group PVH Corp, owner of brands including Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, has noted advances towards its Forward Fashion strategy as part of its 13th annual corporate responsibility report.

It highlighted the work it has done for The Ellen McArthur Foundation’s Jeans Redesign Collection and its first circular business model, Tommy Hilfiger’s Tommy for Life program, which has diverted 36,429kg of textile waste.

PVH CEO Stefan Larsson said: “We made notable progress across key initiatives on inclusion and diversity, environmental sustainability, human rights and climate change. These areas of focus and our values are at the heart of everything we do.”

Other highlights included: 

donated more than $2 million toward COVID-19 relief efforts through The PVH Foundation, and delivered over 2 million units of Personal Protection Equipment 

rolled out nine global inclusion and diversity (I&D) commitments 

increased renewable energy usage by 15%, resulting in 43% of energy used in its offices, warehouses and stores being derived from renewable sources

installed a 48,000+ panel solar roof at its warehouse in Venlo, the Netherlands

enrolled more than 3,078 women in PVH Women's Empowerment Programming; and

launched its first community programme benefiting women near Hawassa Industrial Park, Ethiopia.
