The upcycling of deadstock is the ‘new black’ for many an eco-conscious brand, but a bigger trend is under way to reduce and recycle post-industrial and post-consumer waste.

Some denim mills have committed to zero-waste policies, and using old jeans as a new rescource is gaining ground, as companies make progress on working with shorter fibres and become more efficient at sorting and shredding.
