Lenzing’s CEO is leaving

Fibre manufacturing group Lenzing has announced its chief executive, Dr Stefan Doboczky, is to leave the role.

The Austran group said it had accepted his resignation “with great regret”.

Stefan Doboczky (pictured) became CEO in June 2015, succeeding Peter Untersperger. 

This followed a 17-year career at material science group Royal DSM.


Lenzing chairman Peter Edelmann said Dr Doboczky’s leadership meant the company was “on a stable and profitable growth track with a clear commitment to become climate-neutral by 2050” in spite of the covid-19 pandemic.
