Evlox innovations displayed at Bluezone

Spanish denim manufacturer Evlox exhibited its environmentally conscious credentials at Bluezone recently, telling visitors that “up to 75%” of its autumn-winter 2022-23 collection had been produced using “sustainable” materials, dyes and finishing methods.

New denim fabrics showcased during the fair included linen-blended Linum, which the manufacturer said incorporates antibacterial and ultraviolet protection properties, Hemp (26% hemp blended with 74% cotton), Bamboo and Fibres by Evlox, made with Lenzing’s Refibra (a lyocell fibre created from upcycled cotton scraps) and at least 60% organic cotton.

All of its latest fabrics meet the Organic Cotton Standard’s certification requirements, the company emphasised.
