Evlox presents Re-Design capsule
Spanish denim mill Evlox has teamed up with two other sustainably minded companies to create a series of jeans that follow eco-design principles. The denim fabric is made from organic cotton and biodegradable elastane. French metal trim maker Dorlet and label maker Close to Clothes, based in Paris, Amsterdam and Hong Kong supplied the low-impact buttons and branding elements.

The Re-Design capsule was presented at the Première Vision show in Paris in February 2022 and is part of Evlox’s SS 2023 collection. It is an example of a fully sustainable product from fibre down to the very last detail, María Mas, in charge of digital marketing and sales, told Inside Denim.

The collection for SS 2023 also features the company’s Smoothic denim fabrics. These references have an incredibly soft and smooth texture that is obtained by a mechanical finish applied on fabric made from manmade cellulosic fibres such as viscose.

Since mid-2021, Evlox has set up an online platform where buyers can browse through 300+ fabrics and place orders. This service has proven to be quite useful in a period of restricted trade events and traveling.
