C&A to retail Recover fibre from April

                        The idea is to bring high-quality recycled cotton to “everyday” C&A apparel as its main cotton ingredient, the two companies said, with the first fruits of the collaboration set to be released as part of the retailer’s Clockhouse range in April.
C&A will provide Recover with the necessary demand for high-production volumes, they added, while the latter’s role will be to help “optimise” its yarns and fabrics with technical support through integrating its fibre into the former’s supply chain.
Global sustainability director at the multinational, Aleix Busquets Gonzalez, cautioned that “more sustainable fashion must not be a niche product", describing C&A’s vision as one characterised by quality, more sustainable and, fundamentally, accessibly priced fashion.
Establishing a strong and scalable European circularity ecosystem based on post-consumer materials is the partners’ ultimate joint goal, they stated.
