Sustainability & style for SS2024 at Evlox
Spanish mill Evlox, whose manufacturing facility is based in Morocco, will be presenting its Spring-Summer 2024 inspirational ranges at Bluezone, which opens tomorrow in Munich.

From choice of raw materials to denim processing, the company takes sustainability seriously. The presence of recycled cotton and polyester in its denims and flats can now go up to 40%, it said. Three families of fabrics feature recycled content: Renim Plus (minimum 30% recycled cotton), Renim (which incorporates 20% recycled cotton and 10% recycled polyester) and ReOrg (in proportions similar to Renim) with organic cotton.

For brands and buyers looking for biodegradable stretch denims, Evlox’s solution is a series of fabrics that combine organic cotton with a biodegradable elastane yarn, Roica V550 by Asahi Kasei, which is certified C2C biological cycle, the company said.

For the summer season, the mill offers a selection of denims in blends with linen, hemp or bamboo (a manmade cellulosic fibre).

The fabrics are finished using an array of energy, chemicals and water-saving technologies, from Evlox’s low-impact dyeing process Ice or Aquasave to its laser-friendly denims.
