Evlox inspires students with upcycling collaboration

Spain-headquartered denim mill Evlox will present its 'Upcycling by Evlox' project at Première Vision Paris (February 11 to 13), the first of a series of collaborations to promote garment upcycling.
The mill worked with Girona-based fashion and tailoring school Qstura, donating overstock jeans to be turned into unique pieces.
The students learned about various aspects of denim production through a series of workshops. “This programme not only fosters creativity but also trains the next generation of designers in responsible practices for the textile industry,” said marketing manager Noemi Sanchez.
The prototypes will be displayed at the Evlox stand in Paris, reflecting PV’s theme: approaches that reinvent the sector.
Evlox was founded in 1846 and opereates a denim mill in Morocco, with an annual production of 12 million metres. Its clients include Diesel, Guess, Hugo Boss and Replay.
