Mud Jeans wins sustainable entrepreneurship ‘Oscar’
The King Willem I awards, also known as the Oscars of Dutch business, have been announced and Mud Jeans picked up the prize for sustainable entrepreneurship.

The Amsterdam-based jeans company was singled out for its many efforts in favour of a reducing the environmental impact of its activities, including leasing out jeans and more recently, calculating its impacts through a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). The jury commended the company’s approach to transparency and continuous improvement.

The King Willem I Foundation set up this award, which is delivered every two years, to support Dutch entrepreneurs.
