Mud raises €615,000 and opens second round
Dutch denim brand Mud Jeans has launched a second tranche of its fundraising, following a successful first round that saw 435 investors buying €615,000 worth of shares.

The company’s goal is to attract €1 million in growth capital this year, to strengthen the team, advertise and “tell our story even better and more widely”.

It said: “Our ambition is to create jeans made from 100% recycled materials from old jeans from consumers all across Europe; from Amsterdam to Paris, from Berlin to Zurich. It's an ambitious goal, but we're almost halfway there already.”

Mud buys its denim fabric from Spanish mills Tejidos Royo, and the jeans are made at Yousstex International in Tunisia.

Minimum investment is €250 and interested parties can find out more on its website.
