Cone Denim extends its partnership with BastCore

As part of its recently launched US Hemp Collection, Cone Denim is extending its partnership with BastCore, a company that has developed and patented new methods for hemp processing.

BastCore, a company based in Montgomery, Alabama, and founded in 2014, has created a decortication method that is said to be less harsh on stalks, in addition to delivering fibres that are already cut for staple fibre spinning. It has also developed a novel degumming process that removes the non-cellulosic components of the fibre.
