Denim Futures readies for September

Showcasing producers and brands include Advance Denim, Lenzing, The Lycra Company, Panther Denim, Copen, Crystal International Group, Cone Denim and Fashionary.
Meanwhile, industry voices including David Tring (The Magic of Denim Consultancy), Walden Lam (Unspun), Dennis Hui (Lenzing), Jenny Chan (Kontoor Brands), Jordi Calucho Barbadillo (Archroma), Kyle Chung (Crystal International Group), Michael Lam (Advance Denim), Shannon Mercer (FibreTrace/Good Earth Cotton), Chammy Chan (The Lycra Company), Angus Tsang (The Mills Fabrica) and Anupreet Bhui (WGSN) are all set to speak.
Day one will see discussion on international denim cultures and communities, sustainable financing, circular design, digital denim and future trend forecasting. On day two, attendees will be treated to a life-cycle assessment workshop, in addition to talks on upcycling and next-generation fibres and fabrics, plus other sustainably minded innovations. Insiders will also present on the skills key observers have identified as needed for the industry to thrive in a changing climate and over the coming years.
