Cradle-to-Cradle launches 'solutions forum'
The Products Innovation Institute, which delivers Cradle-to-Cradle certifications, is launching an online Solutions Forum, whose first event is scheduled for October 12. This, it said, is an opportunity to hear the first-hand experience of eight suppliers in the apparel, textile and denim markets.
The event includes two panel sessions. The first on wet processing solutions, threads and regenerated nylon with Luciija Aleksic, in charge of sustainability for Aquafil Group, the maker of Econyl recycled polyamide, Florian Seiberlich, head of marketing for German thread manufacturer Amann Group, along with Craig White from chemicals company CHT and Thomas Lamparter, sales manager for Wet Green.
It will be followed by a second panel talk focusing specifically on denim solutions with The Lycra Company marketing director Jean Hegedus, Sanko Textiles B2B marketing manager Eser Ögücü Khan, Banantex cofounder and CEO Hannes Schoenegger and Ebru Debbag, who heads global sales & marketing for Soorty Entreprises.
The Solutions Forum is for textile professionals such as designers, product developers, purchasers and sustainability managers of brands, retailers and workwear companies from the apparel, textiles and footwear sectors, said the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute.
