Siddiqsons commits to ‘Responsible Denim’
Pakistan-based group Siddiqsons’ new eco-ranges are being marketed as ‘Responsible Denim’. The choice of terms has been carefully thought out. “’Responsible’ makes us accountable for what we do,” Gordon Muir, denim designer and consultant for the company, told Inside Denim.

As part of its commitment to better practices, the company has obtained a Cradle-to-Cradle Gold certification for its ready-for-dyeing (RFD) fabrics. Low impact fibres present in its new ranges include post-consumer recycled (PCR) cotton, Ciclo, a biodegradable polyester, Reprieve, a recycled polyester, and Roica, a recycled elastane yarn.

At PV Denim this week, Siddiqsons highlighted its range of fabrics that tap 90s revival looks.
