NDL x Tencel Swift n' Sway fabrics add function to fashion
Lahore-based vertical producer Naveena Denim (NDL) has launched Swift n’ Sway, a capsule range of denims with Tencel-branded lyocell from Lenzing at their core, designed to offer both fashion and function.
“Tech-infused fabrics are the latest trend in the denim industry,” the manufacturer said of the collection, which it created in collaboration with the Tencel team.
Importantly, the presence of Tencel lyocell gives Swift n’ Sway fabrics inherent moisture-wicking, absorbing and cooling performance properties, “to keep your skin and jeans at equilibrium,” NDL explained. Use of “all natural” and biodegradable, wood-based fibres further shows how polyester can be effectively designed out of denim-making, the company added.
Tested to different degrees of washing, to be certain of their moisture management efficacy, the fabrics retain the soft hand-feel expected of lyocell blends.
