Venice seminar asks: 'sustainable denim design?'
Designer and founder of Veneto creative consultancy Meidea, Lucia Rosin, will deliver an educational talk on routes to using more responsible materials and technologies in the creation of "sustainable" jeanswear collections at her alma mater, the Iuav University of Venice, on May 3.
Special attention will be paid to trend forecasting, according to a description of the event, with Ms Rosin also set to suggest a “panorama” of models for experimentation and application of denim concepts.
Scheduled to begin at 5 pm, the seminar, titled ‘Sustainable denim design?’, will take place inside the academic institution’s Cotonficio building, a restored former cotton spinning mill that dates back to 1883.
