Officina39 hosts Laundry Day for Amsterdam students

The event, one of several organised by the foundation, also based in the Dutch capital, each year to support the next generation in gaining in-demand practical skills and developing their network, was co-hosted by the company’s technical manager, Stefano Parrotta, and creative leader, Juan Manuel Gomez.
Mr Parrotta invited students to participate in a hands-on demonstration of Officina39’s “most impressive” technologies, Aqualess Mission and 100% textile waste-derived Recycrom dyestuff, while Mr Gomez led a discussion on how sustainability, hand in hand with technological innovation, can lead to new ideas and inspire forward-looking fashion trends.
