Suzanne Silverstein becomes JAG, Silver Jeans CEO
Canadian denim labels Silver Jeans and JAG Jeans, both owned by parent company Western Glove Works, have named Suzanne Silverstein chief executive, effective July 10.
Founding chief executive, Michael Silver, has transitioned into an advisory role on the group’s newly formed board of directors.
Ms Silverstein previously spent four years at Los Angeles jeanswear company 7 For All Mankind, most recently as president. In her new role, she will oversee operations, sales, product innovation, marketing, finance, supply chain, growth strategies and profitability.
Mr Silver cited his latest hire’s “enormous wealth of experience” thus far as reason for the appointment. Meanwhile, the new recruit described the brands’ “passion for perfection with product” and “seasoned and talented team” as key to her decision to join the team.
