Denham celebrates bringing denim and athleticism to world stage
Netherlands-based denim brand Denham has celebrated clothing the national Olympics team, providing outfits for the opening ceremony as the official fashion wear partner.
It has provided the Kinetic Denim Uniform for around 500 Olympians and 250 Paralympians, using a abric developed with Chinese mill Advance Denim.
Inspired by movement, the ultra-light 6oz denim combines cooling thermo-regulator technology with aerogel yarns for advanced comfort and performance.
The brand teamed up with Vogue to co-host an opening ceremony live viewing party, at the Parkzuid building in Amsterdam.
The outfits will also be worn in the closing ceremony "and beyond".
Denham said the images made them proud: “As official fashion partner of Team NL, we’re brought denim and athleticism together for the world stage. A year in the making, it was a true honour.”
