Denim brand Guess has appointed Dennis Secor as interim chief financial officer, succeeding Markus Neubrand, who is stepping down to pursue an opportunity that will bring him closer to his family.

Guess has begun a search for its next CFO, who will be based at the company’s headquarters in Lugano, Switzerland.

Its CEO, Carlos Alberini, said: “On behalf of the entire Guess team, I want to thank Markus for his contributions to the growth and success of the company. We wish him all the best as he embarks on his next professional opportunity.

“With Dennis’s extensive experience and leadership and our strong finance team, we are confident that we will not miss a beat.”

Mr Secor worked as Guess’s CFO from 2006 to 2012.
